Picture of the mountains north of Vancouver.I've tried to produce a site compliant with recent web standards such as HTML 4.01, CSS, and Javascript. While this is a nice exercise, it really isn't required. The advantage to me is I get to learn some new tools and hopefully these tools will help ease the maintenance of the site. It also allows me to easily experiment with new ideas.
What all this may mean to you is that your browser may have problems displaying the site as intended. I have tried to apply a design that will allow even older browsers to fall to a lowest common denominator. Still, I recommend you upgrade to a recent standards based browser to gain the full affect I intended. The upgrade will benefit you and the web developing community.
You'll need to turn on Javascript to view the music credit lists. If your browser does not have Javascript, then I've placed a special default that should work for you.
Q: Why are you so strict about scanning and deleting spam?
A: Most the e-mail received is spam and the numbers are increasing. Looking for one valid e-mail out many is difficult, time consuming, and a plain nuisance nobody should have to put up with. It is easier on me if I simply remove this junk. I understand a possibility exists to lose a valid e-mail, but I am that tired of dealing with this insanity.Q: I've found a real web bug in your pages. Will you fix it if I let you know about it?
A: Please notify me, and I'll take a look at it.Q: Will you fix your pages to work with my browser?
A: Not likely as I have finite time and only a few browsers.Q: Which browsers did you test the site with?
A: OmniWeb and Safari on Macintosh. Mozilla, and IE on both Mac and Windows. Netscape on Windows.Q: Which versions of browsers did you use for testing?
A: I used more recent compliant based browser versions. OmniWeb is't so compliant, but it is my favorite.Q: Which platform is this site best viewed on?
A: Macintosh seems to have the best text rendering, so I'd say use a Mac.Q: Which browser best renders this site?
A: The broswers I've tested render fine.
